Most modern cooktops are smaller than older cooktops, and often when you go to replace a cooktop, you find it doesn't fit the whole in your bench. In the past the solution was to either fill the gap with something (which looked ugly) or to replace the whole benchtop. This new cooktop fitment trim kit allows you to fit a new cooktop to your old kitchen without the ugly gap in the benchtop, by covering it with a sylish, well made stainless steel trim.
